I wasted so much time and money going to ignorant stylists. And since no one ever styled my hair right or had reasonable advice on how to go natural, I just put a wig on it. I figured they were cheaper than weaves and salon visits, and they are definitely easier to maintain than my own hair. Little did I know how much damage I was doing.

I also really wanted to go natural, in spite of the discouragement most other uneducated stylists were throwing at me. They questioned my desire to stop relaxing my hair and even seemed perturbed that I'd let so much new growth come in. I was appalled.

Ms. Glo was up for the challenge and let me know just how much damage I was doing by practically suffocating my scalp. She offered remedies and the bold cut I was looking for. When I got out of the chair, I had the sense that I had gotten my first real haircut. No other salon experience had ever come close to matching the level of satisfaction I experienced with Hair N Motion. Gloria took all of my concerns (active lifestyle, disagreement with spouse over styling options, etc) into consideration and produced the perfect cut for me. Every time I look in the mirror at my perfect (and more importantly easy to manage) hairstyle, I am grateful that I found a true hair care professional.

I love going to see Ms. Glo.

For years, I had been doing my own relaxers at home, experimenting with texturizers on my own and I even went 7 months without any chemical process while relying on a flat iron to give me the straight look.

Needless to say, by the time Ms. Glo got her hands on my hair it was a mess! My scalp was deteriorating and peeling so badly, the damage was coming beyond my hairline and into my forehead. I felt so embarrassed by the flakes and dryness. And no matter what I tried at home, my hair would NOT remain straight.
